Dear Customers,

IDnow is updating the AutoIdent liveness technology. We are introducing a new passive liveness detection experience to verify that a real person is present during the identity verification process.

This update provides:
An improved end-user experience during the liveness step
A natively recorded video of the liveness session included in the result ZIP file

We will transition AutoIdent customers to the new liveness detection solution during the following rollout window: 3 March 2026 to 10 March 2026.
The overall AutoIdent flow remains unchanged; only the liveness step will be updated.

This applies to both AutoIdent SDK and AutoIdent Web.
